I’m a senior technology leader with a background running IT and software development organizations and architecting large-scale data solutions. That makes me all the more effective when the rubber meets the road and it’s time to step up and deliver quality software for our clients.
They call me “Ram”, and I’m known for getting the job done. “Failure is not an option,” as they say, and I refuse to accept anything sub-par. It’s all about the mentality of working backward from the goal and finding the path to making it happen. As for the nickname…you’ll have to buy me a drink to hear that story.
Before Facet, I was the CTO of a well-funded big data analytics startup. I was the original inventor of their patented technology, and my team and I launched multiple SaaS-based products in the cloud that saved millions of dollars for our Fortune 50 enterprise clients and individual consumers alike.
I love solving hard problems and creating software that makes people's lives easier.
Building a great product that makes a difference is one of the most rewarding reasons I got into software. Some of the brightest minds of my generation are working on technology to share pictures of your lunch. Not me. My team and I enjoy the ability to be selective and only take on projects that have the focus and determination to provide real value.
I studied Electrical Engineering at Penn State, home of the winningest college football coach in history. That’s not just a bragging right – it’s a mindset that is imbued into you while you are there. After earning my second degree in Information Technology, I became so enthralled with “coding” that I turned that passion into a career.
Even though I live near Philly, I’m a huge Pittsburg Steelers fan. The Steelers and Flyers are my teams, and I love the ethos of those two organizations. Besides, who can root for the Eagles? Those fans throws snowballs at Santa Clause!
I enjoy spending time with my family, playing hockey and soccer, and coaching youth sports. It’s fun to see my kids grow up to be just as competitive as I am.
